Back in the late 80’s, my boss had a Testarossa. He took it to the Ferrari dealership in Greenwich, CT for a “tune- up”. He said it cost him nearly $6000.00, and they did little more than change the spark plugs. Again, this was back in the 80s.
I have no problem with the free market. Mechanics have families to feed, too. And conversely fools and their money.... Yada yada yada.
I know that service, and probably worked on that car.
The engine comes out partially to do it properly. When the plugs are replaced Ferrari recommends changing the distributor. Then they want proof that you did it. And if you didn’t do it, they’ll mark that customer’s car ad an undesirable Ferrari and probably in the future not provide support for it.
These cars are all so stupid to own.
