It looks like DeSantis has won and Royal Caribbean has removed their mandatory vaccination requirement.

Yes, but as I stated just last night to another FReeper, RC is keen to treat the ‘unvaccinated” as 2nd-class citizens:

“Those who are unvaccinated or unable to verify vaccination will be required to undergo testing and follow other protocols, which will be announced at a later date.”

Yes, but just last week RC was keen to restrict the unvaccinated altogether. I think all of this is an ongoing process. Hysterical insistency on masks overall and now in many places they are rarely seen. I’m actually surprised how quick the reversals have been.

Cruise lines need to rebuild their destroyed businesses. And there will be cruise hesitancy based on last year’s panic that they will need to overcome. I think they will be forced by economics to go back to trying to be customer friendly.
