This FR saw the notice from Capitol Police - issued on Friday (or maybe Saturday). I saw the notice on Saturday evening. The notice itself was suspicious, as it mentioned military. So, having been prompted, I had an eye out for this on Monday morning. Within minutes after it started around 8:30, I had viewed the aforementioned 'Richard Citizen Journalist's 45 second video at the start of this so-called 'exercise'. I follow RCJ's Telegram channel, and there are about 3 or 4 vids at various times *during* the so-called 'exercise'. By 10:30 AM it had ended - thus 2 hours (or less). Various angles show that there were exactly four Blackhawks. The other vids show the landing, and another the takeoff. Those babies were *ARMED*. All four were POINTED at the Capitol, and away from the the video taker RCJ. Shortly thereafter, I forget what time, Capitol Police issued a statement of its completion.

RCJ mentions "running at full bore"... perhaps he said "throttle", not bore, upon another viewing of his vid.

Here is the short blurb with the advance notice: "EXERCISE: Monday morning, June 7, we will be working with our federal, state, and local partners on a routine training exercise on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol. Please do not be alarmed if you see emergency vehicles and low flying helicopters."

So, the picture is thus: 4 armed military blackhawks land facing the capitol, full bore/throttle, no apparent activity with troops or capitol police. IMHO, I think the capitol police were merely contributing a chopper for aerial filming.

IMHO, and as a longtime FR I sincerely believe this, this so-called "exercise" was a message from the DOD to the Capitol, in reference to 11.3/11.4 of the DOD War Manual
