It is not, of course...only 50 percent effective and an early report of illness when they started to give it in Cebu.
Everyone knows China owns the politicians, and is pushing anti western vaccine stories on the social media. The English language elite media is run by the Manila elites, all of whom are part Chinese, except for Rappler which was CIA funded to try to destroy Duterte, which is one reason he distrusts the US.
But even after the problem with the French Dengue vaccine, most folks trust the US but they distrust China because China lies, cheats, and bribes.
I don't know enough Tagalog to follow the talk radio and tabloids, but I suspect they were telling of the problems with the Chinese vaccine.
But it is interesting that our maid and our cook were anti vax and said they wouldn't get it. But we have a good mayor who got the British Astro Zeneca vaccine, limited it to high risk people, so they got the shot since both are diabetic and high risk,
Most of the blood clot problems with AstraZ were young women...maybe from birth control pills but no one wants to say this,..so the government said the AstraZ shot would only go to elders and high risk folks.
