One of my favorite basketball players was Bernard King.

At one time, he was the greatest basketball player in the world. Until he sustained a horrific knee injury.

The guy just had talent and class.

LeBron wouldn't have lasted a second had he played in the 70s or 80s.

since I'm from NYS, growing up I often heard my brothers talking about "did you see Bernard King last night".....we used to have really inspiring athletes that we could enjoy...

now, we NEVER watch pro sports anything....
