That’s the case in about 90% of the crime stories I read. Repeat felons previously convicted of vicious/violent crimes and now running the streets either because of suspended sentences or early release. Thank you U.S. Government.

I'm often horrified by the murders of women on the crime shows Dateline or 48 Hours -- I'd say the vast majority of them are presented for the first half hour as sweet little daughters and friends, but turn out to have been women who took feminism seriously and went out drinking, wore seductive clothes, went home with a guy she met in a bar, lived with someone without marriage, got pregnant before marriage and lived with a disgruntled baby daddy, got involved in prostitution or online self-display or sexting, married someone she hardly knew or met online after a divorce, or dated outside her race or social group. Good little cultural marxists.

This crime in the OP is literally sickening, including that his adopted Buddhism is no guarantee that he will join his predeceased loved ones.
