We did language training 6 or 7 hours a day, six days a week, the rest of the time was spent on learning the culture and for most of us, learning to teach English as a foreign language which was to be our job in country.
We got one day off a week, Friday, but they gave us our shots on Thursday so if the shots, rabies, yellow fever, cholera etc. etc. made us sick, we be sick on our day off. But there was lots of snow and the camp had toboggans, so all in all it was a pretty good experience.
