Girl had stole puppies in past and was put in half way house. She burnt it down. She was likely leading the 12 year old astray. She should be put in jail a long time but she won’t.

In my experience with juvenile proceedings, putting someone in a half-way house happens only after many brushes with the law. Half-way houses cost money the state would rather spend somewhere else.

I do not know the legal system in Florida, but in many states unless she is charged as an adult, she’ll be cut loose when she turns 18 and her criminal records will be sealed.

What are the odds she will be “reformed” at 18? At best she will end up a BLM supporter and an activist.

I worked with “troubled” youth for years. Believe me when I say, they know what the hell they are doing. Lock them both up and throw away the key. The chances of them becoming productive, law-abiding citizens is practically nil.
