When I was in the ‘business’ a long while back, group homes were one step up from where I worked, a “youth center”, read juvenile prison. There were far fewer facilities for girls than boys and I imagine that is still the case.
i had a step-daughter in a group home, she was straight up mean caused a lot of issues for her mom.
