“Why don’t they re-introduce the grizzly bear to California?”
The same lunatics who have been celebrating the return of adult Great White sharks to the shores of Orange County will undoubtedly ask themselves that same question. And decide that it needs to be done.
Let’s hope those people will come to their senses.
Grizzlies, though mightily impressive and beautiful animals, are no cuddly little teddies (as some leftist city-slikers seem to assume), especially not for farmers and their livestock...
Speaking of sharks: just three years ago, there was a young California boy who was very severely bitten by a Great White while lobster-diving off the coast near Encinitas.
He made a miraculous recovery, which will hopefully continue. I have often prayed for him and his family.
If you are interested: he has been interviewed by several networks, and he always made a very good impression (on me): he seems really down-to-earth, as well as level-headed and mature for his age.
