Very good article. And I think this record of their methods of success has lead to a certain hubris on the American communist side.
But I do still believe that the world will see something very different when they try to go for the final push here (as they inevitably will) There really is something to that old American cowboy frontier mentality, the rugged individual. It IS out there, though it is not seen much. Neither is the Yellowstone volcano, but rest assured, it IS there. Pressure is building every day.
The American communists are lulled into believing they have won. But there are big powerful swaths of normal America that remain untouched and they do not feel defeated. One day they will go too far, and we will see Fort Sumter, a Lexington and Concord, or an Archduke assassinated. And things will go down that old unpredictable path.
They’re certainly done all they can to mollify the American people – giving the government religious importance, neutering freedom of speech, letting the teacher’s union become a horde of rabid commies – and plenty more you’re already aware of. But it is difficult for those who have become demoralized to comprehend those who aren’t. People who ask “Are you willing to die for your beliefs?” aren’t willing to do so themselves. They understand fighting for their beliefs even less, as they’ve never had to resist anything in a country in which the MSM increasingly treats socialism like it’s the status quo mindset.
All it takes is a little push.
