While I applaud this move completely, Abbott is a Schitzophrenic Republican governor. He consistently makes as many bad decisions as he makes good ones. Texas can do Far Better than this guy. Texas needs a governor far more like Florida’s Governor Desantis.

State Rep. Chris Turner, chair of the House Democratic Caucus, said he and his colleagues in the state House will continue their fight, and he called on Congress to pass legislation on the national level that would protect voting. Why are parts of Texas electing commies to the leigslature?
