No work, no pay. Sounds about right.

"restrictive bill"
The only thing restrictive should be the rope around Rat's necks.

Wouldn’t it be nice if Republicans fought like democrats. One thing about democrats — they never, never, ever give up. Never, never, never.

While I applaud this move completely, Abbott is a Schitzophrenic Republican governor. He consistently makes as many bad decisions as he makes good ones. Texas can do Far Better than this guy. Texas needs a governor far more like Florida’s Governor Desantis.

Tehnically, that would be constrictive,. Food for thought, nonetheless.

“ Stacey Abrams, a former Georgia Democratic gubernatorial nominee, who has been leading the push for voting access in her state, tweeted: “Congratulations to the Texas Democrats, activists and advocates for protecting the freedom to vote until the very last hour to defeat the Jim Crow 2.0 bill#SB7.”
Well bless your heart, chubby. Democrats did Jim Crow 1.0. This bill protects honest votes…as you well know.

The majority of Americans support voter ID laws. Thusly not passing voting security laws is anti-democratic

Correct. I tried, failed and was found wanting.

This is too obvious a solution. Republicans are so boring and uncreative. They need to think more outside the box with the leftist Marxists.

Nothing screams racism like the soft bigotry of low expectations, and Democrats excel at that.
They really do think that minorities are not mentally capable of the simplest tasks.

Trump is still around, with high popularity. I don’t think he’s through yet.

There is a long history of Democrats running and hiding when they’re losing. What kind of people can vote Democrat?

Go after them Mr. Governor!

Stunningly successful. He got an tremendous amount accomplished in his 4 years even though he faced unbelievable obstruction from all quarters. But you should know that unless you just popped out off a Martian spaceship.

State Rep. Chris Turner, chair of the House Democratic Caucus, said he and his colleagues in the state House will continue their fight, and he called on Congress to pass legislation on the national level that would protect voting. Why are parts of Texas electing commies to the leigslature?
