“He just might be an installed ATF “informant”.

Anything this bizarre and outlandish is almost certainly the work of a state actor.

And Moon would be but one of several in that organization, playing all sides of all coins.

Some of them will not even know of other agencies active in gathering humint right next to them.

As a result of very sophisticated (and illegal) electronic surveillance, each has been assigned a probable path of infiltration. And they already know, generally, who their targets are.

They are well trained and know what they are doing, so BEWARE!

It’s not your neighborhood church where everybody knows everybody.

Just remember that the guy who’s up for the ATF Director (or is it AFT director?) job has a “hero” picture where he’s standing in the rubble of the Branch Davidian compound.

The ATF got flamed this year on twitter over a tweet abouth the (25th?) anniversary of the Waco seige.

No, 40 miles from Waco. And no city is listed so it "could" be getting closer to Austin.

Since its formation in Pennsylvania, the group has moved into Delaware and Florida, and now Texas.

The Texas property was listed at just under $1m, and includes a general store, a fishing outfitter, an industrial-sized kitchen, hook ups for RVs, cabins and camping sites.

Sounds like it was an old campground that failed.

Per the article, they are offspring of the Rev. Sun Myung Moon, king of the “Moonies”.

If they run out of ammo, do they have a backup plan such as a large container of Koolaid for the members?

Rev. Hyung Jin Sean Moon is the youngest son of Rev. Sun Myung Moon. He was named by his father as sole successor to his ministry in 2009 and earned a Masters of Divinity from Harvard University in 2010. Following that he held various positions in Korea. In April 2013, he moved to Pennsylvania, where he and his wife created the World Peace and Unification Sanctuary (WPUS). Initially, worship services were held in his home. By May 2014, the congregation grew to the point where a dedicated building was necessary, and the ministry moved to a 13,600 square-foot former theater and Catholic church in Newfoundland, PA. Pastor Sean hosts "The King's Report," a three-hour YouTube broadcast Monday through Saturday that includes spiritual guidance and political and social commentary from a biblical viewpoint. He has been a practitioner of martial arts from an early age and currently holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Since 2015, as leader of the Sanctuary Church in Newfoundland PA, Pastor Moon has published "The Constitution of the United States of Cheon Il Guk," which lays out the political framework for the future Kingdom of God on Earth. Pastor Moon’s new book, based on a series of sermons given in 2016 and 2017, Rod of Iron Kingdom was released in late June, 2018.

Not related to true Christianity at all.

After all, he has a theology degree from Harvard ...

Trump’s fault, plain and simple. He’s just so darn evil.

He called himself the messiah. He was imprisoned in North Korea. He became famous for conducting mass weddings, including one in 1982 at New York City’s Madison Square Garden and another in South Korea in which he wed 360,000 couples.

He commanded a business empire that included chemical companies, arms manufacturers, pharmaceuticals, universities and newspapers. He said he had spoken to the spirits of Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin, and that both men then decided to mend their ways. He served a federal prison term for tax evasion. And earlier this month, he died at the age of 92, after complications from pneumonia.

Not Waco.

Thornton Texas. Pop 550 people.

Part of Limestone County, with a capital seat of Groesbeck.

Probably more long arms there than at the church, not that anyone from Vice News would understand.

I was living in Groesbeck when Mt. Carmel started. Saturday I went to Waco and picked up the Waco tribune with the story on David Koresh. Showed the story to my landlady in Groesbeck and Sunday morning watched the assault live on TV “rerun” over and over.

It isn’t cult-like. It’s a straight up cult. This is the kind of stuff that leftists love. They paint all conservatives with the kook brush.
