Based on the videos I've seen, they were somewhere between OK to awful those nights.

I love Led Zeppelin, but I've yet to see or hear a live performance by them that was ever more than just acceptable. They were a studio band.

The Song Remains the Same movie is closer to a Studio Album than live. At least for Pages Guitar work. He could be real sloppy in Concert.
