The ACLU, on the other hand, should not be liable for the actions of employees/associates/volunteers doing unauthorized stuff on behalf of a woman not officially part of its organization, in my opinion.


Even when the party they were helping was associated with them and promised them money from the divorce settlement?

This seems rather twisted in the ethics department to me.

She may have been endorsed by the ACLU, but she was neither an ACLU employee, board member or officer.

If she wanted to live & party on the French Rivera for six months I believe the ACLU would not have had any legal right to ask her to get to work.

If Angie Agent of Regal Realty smashes into my garage door with her car, Regal Realty is not generally legally responsible for Angie’s bad driving I believe.
