We have been hearing about their low ratings for years. When does it hurt their bottom line? What is propping it up?

Is CNN owned by some other company, so that the operating losses of CNN are subsidized by that other business?

Hln sure fell apart and almost sold. They just run Robin Meade. Rest is documentaries about crime. Filler since news didn’t work. Remember for three years it was named CNN2. Then Headline News.

Until channels like CNN, Espn and Disney are removed from basic TV subscriptions they will continue.

TV providers need to go to an a la carte/ pick and pay for channels to really see an impact.

but as they are all on the same band wagon, this props up their support. That is CNN’s core revenue stream.

I think it is owned by ATT. Or some giant corp like ATT. They don’t care if no real people watch it. It serves another purpose for them; and the people who do watch it only watch it so they can spread their propaganda all over the internet one blog, facebook post and text message at a time.
