Before I joined the Marine Corps in 1965, I lived in a frat house house and we had loquat trees and Mulberry trees and I lived on those things (and whiskey) while I was attending college.

The only problem with loquat fruit is the huge seed in the middle, which takes up a lot of the volume.

Since they are free, that’s hardly a problem.

My mom had a fruiting mulberry tree. She made pies and jams out of them. When my daughter was little and would stay there I’d go to pick her up and her face would be purple.....from eating the berries. She loved them.
