I never understood what was behind Netanyahu’s popularity gaps at home. He was understood in the West, very charismatic, but his critics in the homeland were not often heard and never covered with much depth, here. Maybe never covered at all.
Maybe he was more divisive at home and held controversy, or fear, as a gainful political tool.
Idk what is true, but found him charming and always easy to agree with.

I do recall when Trump and Netanyahu had a meeting together and Bibi said he has the same problem with the press in Israel as Trump does in the US.
So whoever it is that controls the media is behind this hatred, and we know a few of the perpetrators.
