I'm sure Mr. Clark knew all about Glen Campbell's health problems. I would imagine he was thinking about... well, you know what he was probably thinking about.
If I'm right about that, the fact that Roy Clark could find the strength not to shed a tear was impressive. I'm sure I could not. In fact, I cannot even now find that strength, watching the video from years ago. Clark must have been a fine man.
A great album I'm proud to own.
They were lifelong friends. I think they had a deal - Glen didn't play the fiddle (though he could) and Roy didn't play the 12 string (though he could).
Either could play anything and make it look easy. They were both that talented.
