So, try to look like a seal but splash around (relatively) like a wounded one.
The ocean is a big place with lots of big animals in it.
Yep— rubber covered human flavored seals. Sharks have no sense of taste (literally)— they have a sensory “line” on their skin which is quite sensitive to motion and disturbance of sound/wave forms, and apparently the electromagnetic impulses generated by moving... muscles! Yikes. Killing machine wonders of nature.
Sharks are everywhere- can’t tag all of them with “sonic bouys “ how ridiculous.
Wonder if these people who went to Fl were in the ocean off New Smyrna Beach (horror- supposedly the most sharks and attacks anywhere in the US). And there many friends regularly went to the beach all summer in the ocean everyday surfing the breaker lines (where every day they saw many sharks just beyond the breakers in the swells— ie. where the FISH are) and never got attacked. This analysis is like lightning strikes and the odds of being struck.
Want real horror- read and see the movie rendition on the USS Indianapolis (sunk in WWII by jap submarine on its return to Pearl from Tinian Island where it delivered the two atom bombs/components for Fat Man and Little Boy). Left in the water— hundreds eaten alive.
