I have left out quite a bit of detail. They turned off the poser and water early on. They hired “top notch attorneys” and in fact went through at least a couple firms and spent many thousands of dollars. Nothing meaningful was ever accomplished. Everything that you think that you know about this type of situation gets turned on its head when you actually go through it.

If none of that worked then what they needed was a “fixer”.

They are out there—for a price. They can work the system, even if it means bribing local officials to get stuff done.
