And it has to be pretty damn awful for the Trump administration to ask for observers --- which Israel rejected out of hand. BTW, "observers" are something we routinely have at US Ports, as I'm sure you've conveniently forgotten.
Stop making excuses for everthing Israel does. It diminishes both nations.
