Glenn was good in early days on radio and TV, Headline News and then Fox.
Maybe he was always nuts or he went off the rails, but he definitely lost his way for a while.
‘
I think calling us Nazis and Trump - Hitler is more than losing his way.
Beck is another that loathes the base, it’s just that simple.
‘
Addicts do that.
He got way over the tips of his skis.
I liked him in the late 90’s. He was refreshing and actually funny. Over the next few years his schitck took off, he became very popular and then he got tedious.
His fox show was fun.
When he went to the Blaze he was a few years early to the streaming party, and it burned out,
I believe in redemption. But, trust but verify, applies.
Somewhere between 2007 and 2012, I had some folks trying to get me to listen to him, and I did a few times, but there was an underlying current about him that I simply didn’t like.
Then, I think he went to pieces. You ever see that windmill that just disintegrates...you can see something isn’t right, the motion is off, a bit wobbly, and right before your eyes...it just goes to pieces.
That was and is my impression of Glenn Beck. I didn’t trust him back then, and still don’t. I don’t hate him or anything, I don’t think he is evil. I just think he is going to wobble and go to pieces again. I think he needs psychiatric help. And I am not saying that to be mean.
I really do think he needs it, and I hope he gets it.
