If it’s so secretive why are there lodges? Couldn’t they be discovered?
Masonry is at least 30 layers. The bottom I’d suggest are totally benign local things. Probably help their communities. But, there is a darker hierarchy. Only those trustworthy can rise; those that betray the upper levels go bye-bye. There are many examples who’ve gone bye-bye.
