No, you are correct. The Second Beast could not conceive of something as good as the US Constitution.

However the nation that preceded it as a lamb could. Revelations reduces the nation that is a lamb turning into the Second Beast that will be in service to the First Beast.

I believe that socialism will be the reason,because if America goes socialist, you won’t have the Constitution that has been a blessing to America and the world.

You are also correct this is a very old argument. Socialism may be a relatively modern name,but the concept of goodness by force goes all the way back to when God told Cain that whomever would strike him would be struck with seven times as worst a punishment.

Socialism is really man’s attempt at replicating Judeo-Christianity without recognizing the Creator.

The second Beast wears the appearance of a lamb but speaks like a dragon (the devil). Not in its nature to actually be a lamb any more than a wolf wearing a sheep’s guise can stop being a wolf; and again, it pre-existed. Remember, the destination of both Beasts is perdition in the lake of fire and brimstone; Jesus is not rescuing them because they won’t repent and they will have the temerity of actually attacking Him when He appears again.

Socialism is the diametric opposite of God’s way, since it does away with family, private property, religion and borders. It also does away with God’s law, replacing it with the will of man (ultimately not man’s will but the devil’s, of course).

Also remember Antiochus Epiphanes, a manifestation of the Beast before Jesus first came. He did not succeed in turning the Jews into Beasts themselves; they resisted and ultimately triumphed over him, even though they suffered unimaginable casualties. The USA has a similar character to the Jews of that day.
