The US, as a Constitutional Republic, will not turn into the Second Beast. It is when it rejects it’s Constitutional Republic for socialism that I believe that is when it will happen.

What was the identity of the USA in Jesus’ day?

The second Beast is the false prophet. Neither the first nor second Beast could have conceived of anything as good as the US Constitution. And although the USA started as a republic, it is in one sense a Constitutional monarchy with Jesus recognized as monarch; there is no “turning into” something it never was.

Remember, the Beast even goes back to the prophet Daniel’s day, with the implication that it even went back to Nimrod. It has one character and does not change into something good and suddenly back into something bad.
