I didn’t know he was MAGA friendly. I do know that the local sports talk radio drizzles hate his guts. Things such as “He has man boobs, is insincere, always pretending to be gracious, and he signs autographs to gain notoriety.”

That is why I decided to follow him while watching golf. As Tiger was busting clubs, cursing on camera, Phil just played golf. He is not afraid to “go for it” when laying up is what the announcers called for. I love this news.
My wife & I happened to sit across the aisle from Phil $ his wife at the Chili’s by Sawgrass in 1997 or 1998. It was the week before TPC, middle of afternoon with virtually no one around.
He & wife were kind, gracious and signed a napkin our daughter still has all these years later.
