And as a star pupil in the Limbaugh Institute For Advanced Conservative Studies, your Political IQ likely went up 50 points as well.
There will not be another like Rush Limbaugh! If Dan Bongino grades out a 85 or better on the Limbaugh Scale within his first month or two, I’ll give him a “Pass with Distinction” score
Rush monologs will stay forever relevant and unsurpassed. Democrats and demedia have themselves to thank for that.
I know I’m totally spoiled, but Bongino and the other guest hosts lack (at least) three things Rush had in abundance: humor, cheer, and articulation. I hate mumblers that yell at me.
One of the worst of the yellers is Mark Levin, though he’s not been a guest host. I agree with almost everything he says, but always turn him OFF when he starts yelling. As for the mumblers, one Rush guest host won’t even say his own name properly. He mumbles his name as “Brrr Wumbl”. Rush always projected his voice to the audience, and rarely talked too fast. He spoke in a “real radio announcer” voice, not in quiet room conversational mumbling. Even now, I can hear Rush’s recorded voice clearly, but can’t understand much of the actual guest host voices at the same radio volume.
As for humor, when I started listening to Rush on earbuds while walking, I was actually careful to avoid too much laughing while I walked along, thinking that people would see me walking along laughing, and think I was nuts. He is sorely missed.
