Why do these IDIOTS in the “press” continue to use ‘injured’ instead too the correct ‘wounded’ ?

Most “news” these days is written by indoctrinated college interns.
There was another local media account of this that I chose not to post due to the old and tired “shots rang out”.
Shots go boom. There is no ringing involved. Except ears in close proximity.
The answer is of course that ‘injured’ kinda suggests maybe something accidental, whereas ‘wounded’ denotes actual criminal intent, which goes against Leftist narrative.
The same reason they use weapon instead of firearm. A firearm is only a weapon when it is used against another human, if used in defense outside of battle it’s still a firearm.
