Can we finally stop with the insipid “GASLIGHTING” thing? It’s contrived and non intuitive. The proof of this is that, usually, when the writer jumps on the stupid GASLIGHTING word muffin bandwagon, he is compelled to define it!
(Sheesh! I’m beginning to think that way too many here are already mentally enrolled in fricking “KWANZA” as an actual holiday!)

Others have. When they learn of the term and watch the movie they have an epiphany. It’s not just me, others have had this done to them too. They end up appreciating the fact that the movie was made and the very specific verb coined.
The term is useful, in great part due to its very specificity. Sometimes a little obscurity can be a good thing.
