Am I supposed to be upset that people who make products that people want make lots of money? Used to be that being a smart businessman got you praise from people on the right and it was people on the left like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren who cried about how terrible it was that you actually made a profit.
I guess nobody likes successful people now. Not a great way to incentivize hard work and smart decisions: if it works, everyone hates you.

A reminder that there is more at stake and than the true common good. And the balance is everything. We run into problems when:
1) Cheaper drugs or other treatments are being stigmatized even if they may be of crucial, even life saving benefit.
2) Diseases that have gone without screening during the pandemic remain incurable due to lack of incentive and profit motives into research.
