The Left hates religion. It hates nationalism and nation states. It especially hates a Jewish national state. The Left also hates whites and most of their creations.

The Jewish God made all things, and though mankind can be called “God’s label maker”, they cannot *make* anything, only rework it somewhat, and name it using whatever abstract they can think of. That is, people can label an apple, “an apple”, but they cannot create an apple.
And socialists are bitterly resentful of this fact. That is, the god of socialism is mankind, and they cannot abide anyone worshiping the real God.
In fact, if socialists have any sacraments at all, it is by embracing things that God believers reject.
It’s a spiritual thing. It will lead to fulfilled prophecy and the elevation of Israel.
It’s all about victim hood, playing the victim, being able to cash in on all the “aid” that is funnels to the Palestinians, and the political capital.
The Ledt does t care about the Palestinians anymore than it cares about illegals or refugees. But its able to make lots of money and amass lots of power because of them.

Don’t agree with this. They are gaining power, not losing it. They feel more comfortable expressing their views now than they did in the past.
As for why they’re anti-Israel, it ties back in to their desired revolution and the necessary destruction of the existing order, their hatred of capitalism, their disdain for God, and so on. IOW, it’s the usual crap.
