well, i’m not an immunologist, but i think that’s the basic idea of any vaccine. antigens like the spike protein are supposed to get out of the cell so the person’s immune system can see them and make antibodies to them.

if they’re not getting out of the cell, then you might have a much bigger problem, imo. so i’m a bit confused about the

Salk: “The novel coronavirus’ spike protein plays additional key role in illness”

“Salk researchers and collaborators show how the protein damages cells, confirming COVID-19 as a primarily vascular disease”

“A lot of people think of it as a respiratory disease, but it’s really a vascular disease,” says Assistant Research Professor Uri Manor, who is co-senior author of the study. “That could explain why some people have strokes, and why some people have issues in other parts of the body. The commonality between them is that they all have vascular underpinnings.”

“While the findings themselves aren’t entirely a surprise, the paper provides clear confirmation and a detailed explanation of the mechanism through which the protein damages vascular cells for the first time. There’s been a growing consensus that SARS-CoV-2 affects the vascular system, but exactly how it did so was not understood. Similarly, scientists studying other coronaviruses have long suspected that the spike protein contributed to damaging vascular endothelial cells, but this is the first time the process has been documented.”

New Study: “In this study, 11 participants exhibit S1 antigen in plasma after the first injection,
while nucleocapsid concentrations are insignificant in all participants, confirming that the detected S1 originates from vaccination and not natural infection. The presence of S1 is likely due to the nature of the encoded mRNA-1273 spike protein, which contains a cleavable S1-S2 site and enables release of S1 from the spike trimer2”

“We hypothesize that release of S1 protein could result from cleavage via mammalian cell proteases or circulating proteases. We observe an increase in S1 over an initial period of one to five days, suggesting that mRNA translation begins immediately after vaccine inoculation.”

“Interestingly, spike protein appears in three of thirteen participants on average eight days after S1 is produced. The Simoa antigen assays for the full spike protein are designed to require antibody binding to both the S1 and
S2 subunits for detection, resulting in a cleaved spike protein to be undetectable.”

“Additionally, spike protein concentrations in plasma of vaccinated participants may be below our assay limit of detection. We hypothesize that the cellular immune responses triggered by T-cell activation, which would occur days after the vaccination, lead to direct killing of cells presenting spike protein and an additional release of spike into the blood stream9”

You are exactly correct. Spike proteins being produced for the immune system to find and produce antigens for is exactly what is supposed to occur. If they were just sitting inside the cells that entire concept flies out the window.

This an attempt to create hysteria over the exact process the vaccines are supposed to do actually occurring as though something unexpected is occurring. Sort of like the article posted about the "alarming" finding that a lot of people getting the vaccine are reporting sore arms, fatigue, and mild fever after getting their shots...something that had been very wildly reported as a common side effect and that every person getting the shots are told up front to expect. All to create fake hysteria.
