I’m not sure what the “surprise” part is. That 10 died, or that more than 100 others didn’t? And in a country of about 1.4 billion people, I don’t think anything involving about 1,200 people means anything meaningful.
What this seems to be telling me is we could be underestimating the human body’s ability to fight the disease on its own for MOST people, with or without a drug.
