Well the last two would most likely be incorrect. There might be a re-occuring depth of 10k, but there's no way it would be a rod @ that impact speed, nor a installation @ 6 mile depth.
Temps 6 miles down would be well over 1000 degrees.

Fact FWIW, I drilled a well in W. Texas once down to 25,000’. Guess what? It’s HOT down there! Bottom hole temp was >180-200 deg. F.
It would require a nuclear power plant just to provide enough electricity for cooling such a base. I doubt any underground facilities could exist below a couple thousand feet max. let alone six miles down. The deeper you go the hotter it gets. So much dis-info out there...
