I’ve seen that message and clicking doesn’t provide access. Instead I’m prompted to download the app. I’ll try some other browsers or tinker with settings. ThankQ for the insight. I didn’t know I was the only one with this issue or else I would not have asked for extra info on Telegram posts. :D
Refresh the Telegram account and scroll down to ‘preview channel’ below the ‘View in Telegram’ button.
I use Waterfox, a Firefox knockoff.
I’m having the same problem and I HAD a telegram account for 5 minutes. Now, every time I get a prompt that wants me to download Telegram for desk tops. I can’t even find on my computer where to delete anything connected to Telegram. Oh I’ll ask my grandson lol.

For Telegram, use web only version:
Apple has restricted much functionality and are allegedly going to delete. Web interface robust, easy to get at via browser.
