PR call dogs "Opportunivores". They eat what they find. In fact, dogs need a variety of foods, just like humans, to be really healthy.

Yes. We feed our Ollie raw meat. He’s 140 pounds and all muscle. Not exclusively raw but more than 50%. Trust me, he’s healthy.

Chuckster, I laughed out loud at the Opportunivore! Having lost a sammich or two in my day to one of the dogs lol.

LJ, at our old house, the coyote scat was often nothing but berries sometimes. I think if given the opportunity a coyote would eat a ham sammich lol.

My growing up dog ate only table scraps. Never had dog food.
