Its a Marvel Avengers spin-off, and a short season of episodes on Disney+.

It tells the story of Wanda the Witch and her husband Vision. And it takes places in....well, can't spoil the surprise....but its much like the FANTASYLAND you describe.

The artificial intelligence created a digital reality where humans could live life as if it was normal, but in reality they were hairless life forms stored in liquid filled jars and attached to the matrix by tubes that sucked the life force from them to feed the machines' energy needs.

Until one day, a group of rogue rebel humans discovered Neo and freed his hard body from captivity. Turns out, Neo was 'the one'.

Now, who do you suppose is Neo is in this scenario.

Is that little rat f'k traitor those who know about the matrix yet choose to remain in it because its comfortable, safe and familiar? After all, you can push a button and have coffee.

I could go all day long assigning characters from the Matrix to their counterparts in this real world.

I remember learning about 'symbolism' in high school. That's pretty much why I even allowed the reality of Q into my mind. One must understand that Q messages a great deal in symbolism. Which is part of the reason so many here on FR are so vehemently opposed.

They take things literally that aren't meant to be. They have inflexible brains that can't work out the back and forth between reality and symbolism, therefore Q is a joke they can't understand.

Some people's minds really do work like that. We here, are a different kettle of a different color. We see the symbolism, figure out what is really meant by it, and apply it to the reality. Do we take it too far sometimes and follow the wrong rabbit down the wrong hole? Yes we do. But that is the price of having a free mind, with the ability and force of will to THINK BIGGER.

Well, I didn't mean to rant so big. I just sat down to type with nary a clue what I was gonna say.

I call it 'verbal spew', in the written form. Is that also what is called 'stream of consciousness? I never was 188 on that term.

Anyway, Pupperdoo. Just bouncing off your stream. I think when people do little mini rants like you did, readers can be triggered to other, related thoughts.

Wandavision I can relate to a bit, only because I did see the Avengers through the last one. But I have not seen Wandavision.

I saw the first Matrix movie. Morpheus (which is weird because it implies sleep) wakes Neo up with the choice of pills. So, I think Q is Morpheus, Trump is the, okay wait, another scenario, what if we are Neo and Trump is the red pill? If I’m off tell me lol. We are the ones being awakened.

Interesting I didn’t know in The Matrix people were feeders. HUH, where have we heard THAT before?

Verbal spew is far better than verbal vomiting hahahaha. I wish I could explain that better. I had a brother in law who was cruel to my sister who used to verbally vomit on her, that’s what we called it. He would dump on her.

Ahhhh, the Matrix. Good discussion.

I recall some FR discussions on the movies a few years back. I think it describes many things about today’s world, at least in a symbolic manner.

We are fodder to our overlords, our “leaders” (whom we elect as representatives, not leaders). As long as they entertain us with bread and circus, we are a docile lot (we being humans in general, not specifically anyone here).

So many could be considered to be filling the role of that little rat traitor - McConnell, Pence, Ryan, etc. - Many fit the description depending on how you look at each situation. And how literally you take it in. After all, we are watching a movie.

Oh - PS - no significant back hair. No visions of Bags braiding the trapezius fuzz. :)
