I know that a lot of folks preferred Shelly Long, but I always thought K.A. was the more attractive, entertaining of the Cheers leading ladies.

She was only amusing after Frasier showed up.

I LOVED Shelly Long as Diane, but in real life, I now love Kirstie for her courage and love of America.

I preferred Diane, but I really liked Kirstie Alley on Cheers (can’t remember her character’s name).

Both were great and brought different acting styles to the part. IMO

I saw a not-well-known movie with KA decades ago, “Sibling Rivalry”. Very good comedic actress.
