Yeah, if I’m working the oil fields in North Dakota it’s not a good option.

But if I’m running a carpentry business in Dallas I’m going to save a bunch of money by using this truck, plus I have a place to charge my tools.

Dallas? I beg to differ. A/C alone and the traffic there means a lot of down time charging, and a lot of planning, unlike gasoline. There will be some, just like Teslas, second vehicles for showing off.

We’ll know that EV are making progress when a few million households are all EV, rather than the extra toy car in the third stall, like a Corvette or Porsche.
