Grammar police: “The worse” is usually called “the worst”. Worse is relative to others on the spectrum, and we know there are others. Worst is the extreme end of the worse spectrum.
I try to cure millennials of the abomination “verse” as in “It’s the Yankees verse the Red Socks today.” Drives me crazy, but it’s a lost cause. Sorry to say, my son is the worse (heh, heh) offender. I think he says “verse” just to annoy me.
