I’m not the one who reported the post I had no idea it was going to be pulled. It was a nasty accusatory post and I responded to the specific accusation by telling the poster they were displaying the behavior they were accusing me of. If that offends you I am sorry. I did not start that one but once started I feel I had a right to reply. I am sick of the name calling vile nastiness toward anyone who disagrees with the anti vax crowd. Look at this thread and the behavior and you choose to jump on me for a reply using the exact words directed at me first. No one is interested in rational discussion if anything. I’m over it.

I'm all for Regeneron's casirivimab/imdevimab REGEN-COV monoclonal antibody treatment, that President Trump received, all the way from its current EUA down to OTC if necessary.
In that same time frame as Trump's treatment with REGEN-COV, Regeneron gave 300,000 units to DoD and since then, mostly radio silence about any progress in the Phase trials, minus a Scientific American article predictably pooh-poohing that these monoclonal antibody therapies "have not lived up to expectation".
I've had the damned bug, and I've donated "convulsant plasma" [sic] LOL as it was described upthread. Couldn't care less about any vaccine or any reaction to those vaccines or my posts LOL -- but enjoying the Fearper Schadenfreude parade...as I posted on Tuesday, the Feapers have put forth their predictable yet still hilarious geriatric reaction to uncertainty -- they just want to make sure that you. suffer. the. same. fate. just. like. them.
That is false. That is contrary to what the Red Cross says themselves. People who have had a COVID-19 vaccine are "eligible to donate other blood products with the Red Cross including whole blood and platelets if they meet other donation eligibility criteria." The only thing they're not CURRENTLY able to donate is convalescent plasma and even that is changing. And even that had nothing to do with the Red Cross "not wanting" it. It was the FDA's recommendation. So Red Cross followed it. The FDA changed the recommendation. Red Cross states that they're working on changing their policy to follow the new guidance.

You spent 30 seconds finding information that I put in the title and in the first line of text? I specified ‘convalescent plasma’ for the reader because the clip did not. It’d take you 4 seconds to read it but instead you went and searched the internet and then formatting an html response to chide me. *eye roll*
Well, considering the vaccine components are broken down within about 3 - 4 days, it seems obvious that they want the blood because it’s perfectly fine and safe. And people need blood to save their lives.
Do you want lives to be saved?

The authority on what the Red Cross wants, doesn’t want, and is doing in terms of policies and procedures is the Red Cross. They are the authority. So look to them for the accurate answer. I provided screenshots and links to the Red Cross so everyone can read for themselves what the Red Cross says about this.
If you want to call the Red Cross liars, then go right ahead.

I’ve been accuse of that’s ready even though i have never told anyone to get vaccinated. The most I have done is asked a series of questions to help people think about whether it is right for them. again everyone is jumping on me for responding to an accusation in the same vein it was made and no one thinks the first poster was inappropriate or said anything about the nasty mocking posts that make up most of this thread
I will revise my post 44. If I am a murderer for taking the best care of patients I can then the other party is a murderer for scaring people off the vaccine that could benefit from and have their lives saved by it. You do appeal to your doctor status as an authority while remaining anonymous.
Any claims you make about your experience are therefore unverifiable to the rest of us here. All well and good, but... appeal to authority is a logical fallacy, and more-so in light of the anonymity involved in your identity.
The doctors publishing and doing studies on things like Ivermectin, are fully identified. Instead of referring to themselves or their anecdotal experiences, they are posting factual studies and reviews of studies. Their credentials are easy to verify.
It is only natural to give them more credence than an anonymous poster.
