My first thought was that mom and dad wrote his speech, but he quickly proved me wrong answering the follow up questions. Good parenting = Good kids.
The kid was impressive sure, however, it changed nothing in the long run. So there was no takedown. The kid could have blown up a balloon with all the hot air that was spewed. Good speech by the kid but it fell on deaf ears, in Florida of all places.
The Dad has that kid’s back major! He got kicked out of a school board meeting trying to end the face burka.
Kid’s are being abused major with this mask porn.
Having a bright kid help I think is a good thing. Teaching your kids to recognize an abusive power and to fight back is good parenting.
The saddest thing he said today was that one time he didn’t have his mask on, and his teacher DIDN’T KNOW WHO HE WAS because she had NEVER seen him without the mask!!! OMG!! That kid was so smart and cute.....dear parents....send him to a PRIVATE SCHOOL!!!

Met a women today at work who is home schooling her seven kids here in the D.C suburbs.
She said a few conservative leaning things and I replied back with conservative views. She was surprised to find another conservative in DC!
Told her about Free Republic and asked to look into Republican Women’s Club in her area.
She was just giddy about the info but she has 7 to raise and homeschool.
Hope she shows up here someday. Nice lady.

I’m just sayin’ that we as society are sort of forcing kids to grow up too fast. I think I understand what you are saying, that the parents shouldn’t put their kids up as the spokesperson for their views. Fair enough. But those days are over and, frankly, the kid has every right to his views. He should express them to his parents but these days, when kids can sail the Atlantic to speak at the UN about the climate there is no reason a kid shouldn’t be permitted to speak to his own school board.
