This guy is taking a lot of flack, some of it unfairly so. Take the 'mansion' he lives in as an example: At the time of the gun incident, it was related that the house, when he bought it, was very rundown and a historical home. He bought it at a low price and restored it.

If true: More power to him and he is to be commended.

If not true, then he spent hos own money to live in a house that is far bigger than most of us would ever want or need. Well within his rights to do so. Though not in my taste I have no issues with his living in a 'Mansion'.

I have seen an article about the house renovation that was done over the 32 years that the McCloskeys have owned it.
This article was written several years ago, long before this incident.
A relative of mine bought a much smaller home in the same general area (central west end) at about the same time. They renovated it and are still living in it, but it is worth maybe 10X what they paid.
