Your dealings with the school system must have been while you were ASLEEP. The only way you "right" a book is to straighten its alignment if it's leaning. Perhaps you mean "write", as to author something, compose a series of words into a meaningful phrase. A book of "antidotes" might prove useful if you were traveling in snake country, but if you actually are discussing a book recounting personal stories, you'd be dealing with ANECDOTES. Get your act together before you attack teachers.

When I’m on my PC I type everything. But when I’m on my tablet I let voice recognition take care of it. And like most people I’ve gotten really sloppy about worrying about those types of word errors.
Let me follow up on attacking teachers. My laziness with voice recognition negates nothing of what I said. When my daughter was in the ninth grade she had to help her algebra teacher because the woman, who had a degree in math, couldn’t work some of the problems.
When my daughter was in marine biology she and one other girl were asked by the teacher to leave the class (for the semester) and not come back and and he would just give them A’s. He told them that because they were such good students and the rest of the class was so backward, that their presence disrupted things. Because the rest of the class couldn’t pass open book tests.
In her architecture class the teacher was giving Bs to A students unless they brought in tokens from some contest at McDonalds. Now you can deny that happened but I know the kids involved. My daughter refused to do it and consequently received a lower grade. I offered to intervene but she said that the stink would be so bad around school because of the scandal that she did not want to be connected with it.
I could recite dozens more stories. But I’m not going to waste the time. It just gets so absurd you think you’re on LSD when you look back on it. In the teachers’ defense the administrators were just as bad. I dealt with a number of them one on one, including school principals, guidance counselors, superintendent of schools, head of ESC, and school board members. I never dealt with so many people who were afraid to make any decisions for fear they would get called on them. I even had the superintendent of schools say to my face that if he agreed to my request in regards to my daughter’s request to skip a grade, what would he tell other parents who wanted the same thing? He agreed that she was capable of it, but he did not want to take the responsibility of making the decision. And there’s a whole lot more to that story than I don’t even attempt to outline here.
So yes, I probably could fill a small book with the insanity. Fortunately a good portion of her twelve years was homeschooling, actually 10 years since she went to college at sixteen.
We did know some individual outstanding teachers. And we were very fortunate that we did. But again that wasn’t the rule.
So if you don’t like my attitude about teachers and the public school system that’s your problem , because I dealt with them much more intimately than the average parent.
