Most of the union bosses are commies. But the rank and file pretty much reflect society as a whole. You’ve got looney left teachers. And you’ve got solid conservative MAGA teachers. The problem, of course, is that the conservative teachers can longer freely express their opinions. So you don’t hear much from them.
As to how those commie union bosses get elected in the first place, I could tell you stories that would make Stalin blush.
When they favored unions (e.g., SEIU) over science, education, kids, society; I quit all admiration. I can’t wait until their pensions run dry.
