We need to be sure you understand what a conservative is.
Here are the principles of conservatism:
1. Build the Wall.
2. Drain the swamp
3. America First In All Things
4. Pro Life
5. Pro Guns
In That Order.
A red State Democrat will be squishy on 4 and 5. Romney types will reject 1 2 and 3. He must be eliminated and if the only way to do that is voting a Democrat and that’s what has to be done. You either believe in drain the swamp or you do not. If you do not you’re not a conservative.
Your definition of who a conservative is, is strictly yours. I have seen more solid and better definitions and I know who and what a conservative is
The point being, your talk of Republicans voting Democrat. Not gonna happen. There is no Democrat worth voting for by anybody, let alone by a conservative.

According to Ronald Reagan and other articulate Conservative leaders, a Conservative is someone who defends the Founding Principle of Limited Government as embodied in the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
I believe President Trump views Conservatism the same way, although he is less articulate about his guiding principles.
Yes, being a Conservative includes doing the things on your list - but it goes far beyond that, and it means doing them the right way (Constitutionally).
