There are critical things coming in 2022.
The Never Trumpers are going to wrap themselves in what they will claim to be Republican policies and pound on the lectern about how they are principled and Trump is not.
This is a critical and delicate thing. It simply comes down to this. If a candidate is running in a blue state they get a pass. We will have to endure their interviews in the MSM as Republican leaders, but we will have to accept that only that policy could have gotten elected in a blue state. We will get votes from them in Congress far more aligned with MAGA than an outright Democrat would have provided.
But here’s the delicate part. It is personal. If a GOPe candidate is running in a red state, and doesn’t toe the line of MAGA, staying home is not enough. The GOPe can orchestrate nomination procedures to be sure the trader gets nominated. When that happens staying home is not enough. We will have to vote for the Democrat, even if it means six years, to be rid of the traitor. It’s personal and a lesson must be taught.
This is what drain the swamp means.
