Leonor Flores already did that at FIU. It functioned about as well as you would expect.

Heh. Reminds me of a friend’s first design job. He calculated it all out and designed it with some size of rebar spaced 10.75 inches apart.
His boss called him in and said something like “This is very good work, and I’m confident that your design is optimal. However, the guys laying in rebar only know 6, 12 and 18 inches. So it has to be designed around that!”
