Clapton has been reviled by the Left before as a racist for being too English centric and he is pro English ..so what..

A man who singlehandedly probably paid more homage to black Mississippi delta bluesmen than any single white man who ever lived including millions from his own pocket for surviving families and monuments etc to long lost bluesmen even the obscure ones

Isn’t Clapton on “the edge of retirement” from playing due to some other pre-existing physical ailment? I think I read that somewhere... that he’s performing on borrowed time.

I just purchased Van’s new album and am looking forward to the collaboration album with Van and Eric. (I’ve always been a rebel, and LOVE what is happening with my two favorite artists!)
